Cookies and consent
Last updated:
This page explains what is saved in your browser and what visitor statistics Derbyseger collects. You can read the website even if you reject Google Analytics.
Your choice
Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow. If you choose Reject, Google Analytics does not load. You can reopen the banner at any time through Analytics settings in the footer or the button above and change your answer.
Changing from Allow to Reject stops Google Analytics collection and removes its cookies from your browser. This change does not delete statistics already sent to Google.
What is saved in your browser
Google Analytics cookies are saved on Derbyseger's domain after your consent. Your consent choice is saved separately in local storage so we can remember both Allow and Reject.
| Name | Purpose | Validity period |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics: recognises visits in the same browser. | Up to 180 days |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics: connects visits and session information. | Up to 180 days |
| derbyseger-ga-consent-v1 | Local storage: saves your latest choice, the time of your answer, the policy version and when your choice expires. | The choice is valid for up to 180 days |
We ask again when your choice expires. Clearing local storage also means you need to choose again. If your browser blocks local storage, your answer applies only to the current page.
Google Analytics
Google receives information about page views, the referring website, browser and device to help us understand how Derbyseger is used. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled, and we do not grant advertising storage consent. The cookie lifetimes above apply to storage in your browser; Google's handling of collected information is described in its privacy policy.

You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. To withdraw Google Analytics consent, open Analytics settings and choose Reject; deleting only Google's cookies does not change your saved answer.
